PEPTIDE ARRAYS

CelluSpot Arrays are standard microscope slides coated with inert white background foil. Each 0.8 mm diameter spot contains one type of synthetic peptide covalently bound to partially dissolved cellulose.
One array can contain 384 peptide spot as duplicates with a spot-to-spot distance of 1.2 mm.
Due to the three-dimensional peptide presentation CelluSpot arrays have up to 3 orders of magnitude higher sensitivity than conventional peptide arrays.
CelluSpot arrays can be used with autoradiography, chemiluminescence, chromogenic substrate reactions and dedicated fluorescent dyes, and are compatible with standard flatbed scanners.
Up to 600 peptides can be synthesized on one membrane. The spot diameter is ca. 2-3 mm. The arrays contain 5-10 nmol of peptide per spot. Peptides are covalently bound to cellulose via the C-terminal end. Arrays contain control peptides on request. Detection can be done with autoradiography, chemiluminescence, chromogenic substrate and fluorescence dyes.
Cost-free N-terminus acetylation is recommended.
A large amount of modifications like stable isotope labeling (SIL), dyes, cyclization, branching and modified amino acids are available for custom synthesis.
