CelluSpot Arrays
CelluSpot Arrays bestehen aus Mikroskop Objekträgern, die mit einer inerten weißen Hintergrundfolie beschichtet sind. Darauf werden Peptidtropfen mit einem Durchmesser von 0,8 mm aufgebracht, wobei jeder Tropfen einen bestimmten Typ synthetischen Peptids enthält, welches kovalent an teilweise gelöste Cellulose gebunden ist. Ein Array kann 384 Peptidtropfen als Duplikate enthalten, mit einem Abstand von 1,2 mm zwischen den Tropfen. Aufgrund der dreidimensionalen Peptidpräsentation weisen CelluSpot-Arrays eine bis zu drei Größenordnungen höhere Empfindlichkeit als konventionelle Peptidarrays auf. Sie können mit Autoradiographie, Chemilumineszenz, chromogenen Substratreaktionen und speziellen fluoreszierenden Farbstoffen verwendet werden und sind mit Standard-Flachbettscannern kompatibel.
