SPOT Membrane Arrays are peptides synthesized on a 100×150 mm modified cellulose membrane. Up to 600 peptides can be synthesized on one membrane. The spot diameter is ca. 2-3 mm. The arrays contain 5-10 nmol of peptide per spot. Peptides are covalently bound to cellulose via the C-terminal end. Control peptides can be included on request. Detection can be done with autoradiography, chemiluminescence, chromogenic substrate and fluorescence dyes. N-terminus acetylation is recommended.
