Your tasks
- Independent development, optimization, and scaling of synthesis and purification processes for complex, customer-specific projects.
- Independent planning, execution, and scientific documentation of experiments, as well as presentation and interpretation of results.
- Active participation in establishing new processes and solving challenging preparative problems in the laboratory.
- Collaboration in the design, implementation, and maintenance of digital tools and automated systems to increase efficiency on a laboratory scale.
- Close collaboration at the interface between modern peptide chemistry (solid-phase and liquid-phase synthesis) and chemical process engineering.
Your profile
- A successfully completed degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or a comparable field with a focus on organic synthesis.
- Practical experience in peptide chemistry is a plus.
- Strong process-oriented thinking and a good understanding of chemical and process engineering concepts.
- Interest in laboratory automation, process digitization, and modern data analysis.
- High level of initiative, a structured approach to work, and strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility, a hands-on mentality, and enjoyment of working in a dynamic SME environment.
- Fluency in both spoken and written German and English.

Founded in the late 1990s Intavis Peptide Services (IPS) has around 30 years of experience in peptide synthesis. As a part of the Intavis Instruments corporation we initially synthesized peptides to validate analytical instruments.
